Professor Jeremiah Kang'ombe is an Aquaculture Nutrition Specialist. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology with Fish Nutrition as a Major, obtained from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada and a Masters Degree in Animal Science (Aquaculture) from Bunda College of Agriculture, University of Malawi.

Currently working at Bunda Campus, Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) as a Professor and also a Specialist in Aquatic Weed Science in the Aquaculture and Fisheries Science Department, Faculty of Natural Resources. He has been conducting extensive research in his field and related areas and published more than 40 articles in refereed journals and conference proceedings

He has supervised many undergraduate and postgraduate students‎ including PhD. He has also contributed to the aquaculture industry in the area of development of feed for smallholder and commercial industry.
