Emmanual Zenengeya is the Monitoring and Evaluation specialist in the programmes coordinating office,he is a qualified
project planner, he studied his Masters Degree at the University of Bradford, UK, he is also a holder of a Postgraduate
Diploma in Development Economics and a BScoc in Economics and Computer Science obtained from the University of Bradford,
UK, and Chancellor College, Malawi, respectively.
He joined Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources in 2014 as the M and E specialist, he is responsible
for Designing and implementation of LUANAR and Programme Specific M&E system to assist in tracking implementation of policies,
programmes and Projects, Tracking progress towards achievement of Strategic Plan and Programme Objectives ,Undertaking periodic
studies and assessments for various Programmes and Projects ,Working with Research projects on baselines surveys, periodic
evaluations and end-line evaluations for various programmes and projects.
He has worked in several African countries including Swaziland and Tanzania under the United Nations Development Programme
(UNDP) as an M and E expert for a number of projects.
Membership in Professional Association and Publication
- Chairperson of the Internal Procurement Committee of the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC)
- Member of the Core team working on HIV/AIDs mainstreaming in OPC
- Attended a five week course in Participatory Monitoring, Evaluation and Assessment organised by the University of Wales, Swansea in March 2004 and presented a paper on “Participatory Community monitoring and Evaluation for service delivery performance assessment using score cards”
- Attended the Ethiopia-Forum 2002 organised by the Ethiopian Social Fund (January 2002), accompanying the Executive Director of MASAF
- Participated in the MASAF III preparation Study Tour of Social Funds and Decentralisation in Uganda and Egypt (2001)
- Have attended, facilitated and presented on a number of workshops and seminars on above and beyond as Local Government focal point of economic planning and development. Worked as a part-time computer advisor/analyst of the department
- Paper presentations during the 1996 LGDP Mid term review preparatory workshops to chief executives and planners of the large urban Local Assemblies
- Paper presentation/contribution during the Vision 2020 preparation process on Rural Non-Motorised Transport (Integrated Rural Accessibility Planning)
- Presented and facilitated workshops (July 2000) for Chief executives, Directors of Finance, Directors of Planning and Development on Rural Infrastructure Rehabilitation and Development through targeted food for asset project.
